AutoScan reaches your car through an ELM327 adapter that plugs into the OBD2 port under the dashboard — USB for a laptop, Bluetooth for a phone or tablet. They cost around £10–£30 and are sold everywhere. We are a software company and no longer sell hardware, so buy whichever you prefer.
No. Every edition is a one-off purchase and the licence key does not expire. What varies is how long you receive new software versions — when that period ends, the version you have carries on working.
Enhanced, for most people. Standard if you only want to know what the light means and turn it off. PLUS if you need Bluetooth or a commercial licence. ULTRA and ULTIMATE are for workshops doing module-level ECU work.
